In all of the years art has been around, this very well may be the pinnacle of all of it. Every stroke has such form and precision. The artist obviously loved to paint, and it clearly shows. The detail shines through with every tiny pixel that contributes to this glorious masterpiece. Someday, there will be a hostile alien invasion, but as soon as they see the surface of our planet, they will realize that we are an artistic machine making each work with such passion, grace, and humility. They will realize this after every country tries to put this or some slight variation as their flag. Seeing such appreciation for artistry, they will come down, feed the hungry, house the homeless, cure all known diseases, and celebrate us with a grand festival of laughter and merriment. Unfortunately, and little known to us or our alien allies, deep in space their lies a little gun, waiting in silence and solitude to one day bring terrible vengeance on the species that discarded it after all was fixed. Feeling no feeling or thinking no thought, just wanting blindly to murder the human race. Centuries go by when we find that gun and it all of a sudden pulled it's own trigger on four drunks going the wrong way from earth to the fated first shot in 800 years. The new found AI found itself floating through space towards earth. After that it was all down hill from there, all of a sudden, humanity had another problem again and it was horrible. After the murder of the human race, the gun just fell where it was. All was silent in the universe for the rest of it's existence. All because of an ambitious artist with a fondness for Shrek. Congratulations.Β
