Description Because of great demand, I have decided to post some pics in which you can actually see my tatts. In case you can't make out the forearms, one is the logo for my company, FTW, Inc., depicting a skeletonized uncle sam shooting himself in the head with a glock 9, and the other depicts a giant black widow beaming down from a space ship and attacking the earth. Just your run-of-the-mill stuff

I bet!!...mines tiny and it hurt like a *@&~*&!!! - how are your lip piercings doing? (are they rings or studs btw?)

They are doing better thanks, but still pretty swollen. They're two 10 gauge rings. The part that really hurts are the holes inside the mouth. No matter what I eat, they seem to flare up and sting like hell (especially salt!!!). Oh well, it will be worth it in the end.

I talked about lip peircings with friends that'd had 'em and we all had the same thing .....one day the swelling seemed to go 'CracK!' and suddenly we realised it had gone soft and normal ...I know they hurt , but they WILL get better ....I had mine done with a stud first off then changed it to a ring later so I didn't have the curve of the ring to deal with. Thing is , I didn't take it out for more than an hour or two for years, then one time it was just hurting my gums where it rubbed (and it was about the time my tongue stud got removed) so I thought f*~k it this is going too....after 6 months of not wearing it I found that the hole was STILL unhealed over and that I could put it back in!!! Maybe I'm just lucky with it - but now I can just put it in and take it out whenever I feel like it!!

OK, Thanks!!! i won't freak out then, it's only been a week. i hope mine heals like yours, that would be cool to be able to take it out once in a while. I've heard lot's of people complain about the stud irritating the gum area, which makes sense since it sticks out right at the gum line.

Mmm some people have it worse than others with the gum troubles.....if it gets too bad you just have to try and pad them out away from the gum for a while until it stops being so irritable - theres not too much else u can do until you can start taking them out.
