~IIclipse (Cloud FF7) vs. *RubisDelaflote (Zell FF8)

Wow, wasn't sure if I was going to make the deadline for this one (speed-paint like whoa O_O). still can't believe I made it on time. The objective for this round is to draw a fight scene incorporating a certain weather element, in my block, a volcano eruption. RubisDelaflote is an AMAZING artist, so I knew I had to up the game in order to have a chance at winning

I love how you incorporated FFVIII characters into the Dissidia world! While I certainly don't dislike Cloud, anyone from FFVIII automatically gets my vote (unless they're against Tifa. Then, it's a tough call, lol).

That is an AMAZING action pic. If I could normal-paint human figures half as well as you speed-paint, I'd be rolling in awesome. The expressions are perfect, the lighting is dynamic, the whole piece just explodes with kickass.

Great fight scene! One detail that I really like is how Zell's right fist is kind of blurred a little, like it's out of focus. Same with some of the debris. Good work, especially since this was speed paint!

thanks! haha, even though i said i sped painted through this, it really can't qualify since speed paints usually take less than an hour and this took me 8

thanks! looks like dissidia aces is doing a good job getting me out of my comfort zone this piece really stands out in my gallery because of the action, background, and expressions so i'm really happy with the result!
