This AU is one I made up a while ago, but never really got around to doing anything for. So basically, to make sure that I do not take up much of your time, it goes a little like this.

Instead of killing all of the kids at the pizzeria that fateful evening, the troubled William Afton sees remnants of memories of his lost children within the children he was contemplating on killing. (In this AU, Afton's whole family is dead, all due to either natural, or unnatural causes.) His daughter, Elizabeth hit her head on a counter top, and split it open so bad she suffered a horrible concussion and soon died. Micheal, his oldest son, got beaten in the alleyway of a store near the school when making his way home one day. The youngest son, Jesse (He has no real name, as far as I know, but I have heard others call him Cassidy,before, actually) suffered a horrid bite from the golden bear animatronic in the family diner in 83.

So, in a fit of confusion, and deranged sadness, Afton took the four kids he was about to kill, and drive them out to a cabin in the woods. He couldn't bring himself to kill them, though he could kill almost anyone else with ease.

While they were there, the children : Frederick (Freddy) , Ethan (Bonnie) , Emily (Chica) and Gunther (Foxy) stayed in relative comfort, though they were afraid. Afton never treat them horrible, he couldn't bring himself to. Though,if the children tried to escape, he would make them go a day or two without food.

Over time, the children started to rely on him more and more, thinking that he was the only beacon of light that they had left. If their parents really wanted them, they would have been there already, right? Why were the police not looking?

Sometime after, during an outing, a wandering man broke into the cabin, looking for some place to rest after recently stealing from a store and getting away from the police. He sadly ran across the kids, Gunther, first to be exact. Due to their predicament, the kids were allowed to wander the house, without being secured. However, they could not leave.

When the man found Gunther, he was the only kid he saw at the time, in fear of either being caught, or tattled on by the child, them man chased him, and caught him easily (Gunther has Asthma) and proceeded to choke out the poor kid. Frederick and the other two ran in just in time to seethe man slamming Gunther's head into the ground to ensure he was dead.

Desperate, and scared, the children all clobbered the man to death in an attempt to get him away from Gunther and get the boy to help. However, it was too late for too much damage had been done already. Frederick, Emily and Ethan all used their hands to pull at his air, and even scrape at the man's skin. This resulted in them being attacked briefly before Afton got back from buying living needs.

As Afton returned he heard the racket, and got inside just in time to see the damage that had been done. Gaining flashbacks of his own son, Micheal, he instantly was on top of the man, clobbering him for what he had done. The man was beat into unconsciousness, and left there on the floor before the man went to check on Gunther. Gunther, sadly, was already dead, which made the man only more angered. The children around him were also distraught.

Later on, Afton and the three buried Gunther and the man, knowing that they might not, gave them the option to get revenge for the fallen child. Frederick, the youngest of the children was the first to take up the other, in a fit of anger, and sadness. Ethan and Emily too joined in, making the man go through a slow and painful death.
