there's where I looked for Carlila's pose.
you can tell it's not a lot alike to my drawing, and not my style (the base is manga-ish, more child like, my style is more mature, and characters seem more adults.)
But I guess I'll say in the comments I looked in this pic for get a pose reference c:

not at all; I imaginated the pose, and when I sketched Carlila I got her wrong. So I went to look to pose references, I found a base, and by looking at it I understood how to get the pose right. Then added Domino, but for him I didn't used a pose reference.
I do this often, I look at pose references or bases around dA for have an idea of what to do and how to go on with the drawing.
Sometimes, but rarely use a base under my drawing.
