I use SAI for sketching and inking the individual frames and Image Ready/Photoshop to make the animated gif.

I've heard you can make animations using photoshop but I never found out how to do it, any tips?

Photoshop comes with a program called Image Ready. In Photoshop, use a separate layer for each frame and then select: File > Edit in Image Ready.

I think that later versions of Photoshop integrate the two programs but I've got an old copy.

Thanks I never knew it was that simple!

I have Pshop 5.0, so I'll see if its got it, then fiddle around a bit
