Jasper trying to keep herself together after having her gem cracked.I just have so many feels right now - I'm so worried for this big cheeto puff.
We didn't see her face at all after she and Lapis separated, and she did got hit real hard with Alexandrite's whip-fist straight to the nose plus she did fell down into the deepest stoney abyss :c

Well at least spoilers in terms of yes Jasper appeared (and dooown she went xD) and that soooomething might have happened during the fight. So not really a major spoiler but a tad one.

I wonder if being broken could help her realize a few things, help her rethink a lot of her decisions and thoughts, you know when on your death bed you regret and wish you were a better person (gem) or the fear of non existence really getting to you. I really want that to happen, at least to redeem Jasper even if her gem completely shatters, closer is what it's called heh

..and she probably is as one of the creator (mcburnett I think) said she's a complicated character (plus her voice actor has been recording some lines xD)
But I hope she will be ok at least eventually :c
And yes she was mean but to be honest from her point of view she was mean to a bunch of traitors that killed many of her brothers in arms back in the war. Plus she was Peridots bodyguard and is a warrior gem that won't take no sheet xD

That's one angle I didn't consider.
I guess I figured her gem wasn't cracked or anything like that because we didn't see that on Malachite.
Would it be possible for it to start cracking after unfusing....?

Everything is possible with the power of *imagination*
But in all seriousness I think it might be possible seeing as either the gem might have weakened considerably by the hit and cracked while malachite unfused into more vulnerable gems (look at how beat up and tired they all were even though they were fighting just a moment ago) Plus a giant stone crevice (Amethyst fell from a cliff and cracked hers)
And while Lapis was shown from both face and her gem side Jasper was always covered - so unless she was just super pruny from her year under the sea I don't know why would they make the effort otherwise.
