whoa lineless artLOL I TRIED but this was also sort of a doodle so
I dunno I kinda like how it turned out
Merlin is a good show wow
I'm just barely into season 4 and thanks to the internet most of the character deaths were spoiled months before I even watched a single episode (ʘ‿ʘ✿) but I don't let it bug me much now! it's just really depressing knowing that most the characters I've come to love are going to die soon asdsgdsf
Gwaine, Lancelot, and Arthur are my faves uwu I'm still trying to sort out my ships but Arthur/Gwen is a pretty obvious one
anyway yeah Merlin is a cutie so I drew him woo

And yeah I never realized just how hard I'd get hit in the feels, I mean after watching so much of Doctor Who and seeing how depressing that show can be I didn't think anything else could possibly be worse. I was so wrong. :I

(If you're into S4 then I assume you know what happens UNLESS YOU HAVEN'T SEEN THE SECOND EPISODE? I dunno what "barely" qualifies as in your book aha. weeps quietly. Gwaine is my babbu and so is Merlin and Arthur and the blatantly gay subtext is kind of fantastic (Merthur is my OTP to end all OTPs) but wah yeah sob just I have a lot of feels for this show so yeah enjoy it ahhaglke /weeps quietly and slinks off)

OH MAN I KNOW this show is so painful wow
I mean I held it together really well for two and a half seasons, I didn't shed a single tear (though I came really close a few times)
then I watched Queen of Hearts and my tear ducts just about exploded during that one scene in the throne room because I held it back for too long and now things are steadily getting more and more depressing sigh

Yes the Merthur it only gets worse through s4 and s5 and the writers themselves, the freaking head writer even said that MERTHUR IS BASICALLY CANON THEY JUST NEVER MAKE IT "CANON" DO YOU UNDERSTAND WHAT I MEAN (this is actually real, the commentary for s5 e12 or e13 is the head writer + katie mcgrath and he basically says "yeah merlin and arthur have it for each other and all of the gay subtext was really actually legit" but NOT IN THOSE WORDS OF COURSE AHA.)

This reminds me of a vid I watched today of Tom Hopper, Eoin, and Alex Vlahos. Someone asked them if they shipped Merthur and they were all confused, since they had no clue what shipping meant, and Alex just stood there with the most dumbfounded look on his face before saying "but why is there a ship?" I think I mainly cried because Arthur kept crying and he was so scared aND THE TONE OF HIS VOICE WHEN HE TOLD UTHER HE WASN'T READY TO BE KING I JUST.....
