That Swiss Army uniform flipping killed my hand. And I kid you not, they do look all stripy and crazy and are supposed to be yellow, blue, and red. But I love them.
I used a reference for this (without tracing) to help me out with my anatomy, and it worked pretty well imo. A few things bug me but I don't typically do fullbody art, so I don't mind much. I just have to keep practicing it.
For some reason I'm terrible at drawing eyes/faces now, though. ._. Aaarghh.

and yes I do write random crap when I sketch

I guess this is a WIP, but I'm not completely sure if I'm going to lineart and color the Swiss Army part or not... because only the Swiss can be in Vatican City's army, and I was mainly just drawing her in the uniform because she needed some type of non-casual appearance, but... that's the only military outfit they have there. xD I guess it doesn't really matter since she's a personification of the entire country, including its army. I dunno.
The colored side can be used as a ref in case anyone wants to draw her or if we do an art trade, by the way. ;D

Last night I was reading a tumblr blog that has to do with the worst Hetalia OCs out there, and... dang. Some of them were so bad that I started feeling self-conscious about my own OC even though I wasn't done developing her, so I decided to do a ton of research. I was looking stuff up about Vatican City for more than an hour, and once I finished... I had a huge urge to actually visit the place xD It's very interesting. (this morning my mom even told me that one of my cousins was just there. I got jealous. Very jealous...)

The next time I draw a picture of her I'll include some updated info on her. I'm writing way too much already. :I
