[This is a flashback on Bashe's family story to expand a bit of the context]

Before they decided to move the pack to the new territory, everything seemed quite nice and warm. The kids just hatched their eggs and they were already running around and making cute little noises, playfighting and making an atraction for everybody in the pack... Everybody came to see them! Even Lucy used to spend lots of time with the family, checking on the little babies, playing with them... it was obvious they would end up admiring her so much! She seemed so amazing and strong, usually she told them stories about the adventures she lived, fighting unimaginable creatures that came straight up from hell- and always winning, obviously. Bashe lowkey picked her likes for epic stories from her and used to keep herself up till very late thinking about when she grew up to be a big, strong carno and fight with scary things like Lucy used to do, even used to try to recreate those fights with her brother CT.

Everything seemed to be perfect at that time, but none in that little family would be able to forget the last time they saw Lucy alive. The day before the storm everything was extremly calm, the kids were playing, the air was a bit colder than usual but it wasn't weird. The two new parents were still half asleep -Bashe kept them up until late- when Lucy came to say goodbye, they wished her a safe trip, the kids were so into their play they didn't really payed much attention... Little they knew by then that it would be the last time they saw their loved leader alive, probably they would have said different things, they would have give her a proper goodbye, they would have tell her that they loved her for last time but it was too late for that now.

Who would have known everything could turn so badly, now with the pack all splitted down and everybody being angry with everybody, the two young parents only could hold themselves on the happy memories from that time that seemed so far away now. They tried not to think too much about it, losing Lucy had affected them more deeply than what they cared to admit.

Their main concern right now had to be the wellbeing of their kids.

OKAY so a bit more of story on the carno family, I have now a bunch of feelings for the starters and after talking with RadicalRyuu we've kinda fell on the headcanon of Thistle having a huge crush on Lucy, and Freddy is too much of a good boy to be any near to jealousness, the three of them loved and cared for eachother, and because Freddy's the goodest boy, he gets all the cuddles!

I really don't know how the kids will take the death of their beloved Lucy, but neither I do know how will Freddy and Thistle take it, nor the rest of them... Lucy's death broke the unit of the pack, it happened to Alexander the Great, her corpse ain't cold yet and they're already fighting for who will get the biggest bite- Disgusting. The couple just decided to walk away from all that, find a place somewhere else far away from all that noise where they can mourn their beloved partner in peace.
