Oh my. This is just... amazing! I saw another piece of yours in someones favourites and had a look at it, then checked out your page and saw this in your featured deviation spot. It just struck a chord instantly. It's amazing how real this looks. There's so much detail that it's almost unbelievable. There's plenty of emotion in it too, especially in the dragon's eye. I particularly like the boy. The detailing of his skin, his facial features... there's just so much to see and admire. Loving the colours. The lighting of it is brilliant. What else can I say? This is marvelous.

I'm amazed every time I look at this.... its so incredibly life like. I cant imagine how long it took you to create the scales. The boys expression also stops me in my tracks. What a gorgeous piece.

I am loving the glow to the piece. The boy looks ethereal, and the dragon like the guardian of his imagination. I'm curious...did you paint from a photo? Or is the dragon the digital painting part of this?
