Description Charites (Χάριτες; Greek: Graces), goddesses of charm, beauty, nature, human creativity and fertility. They ordinarily numbered three, from youngest to oldest: Aglaea (Beauty), Euphrosyne (Mirth), and Thalia (Good Cheer).

this is really beautiful - I don't think I've even seen ona look quite so angelic/calm. Especially love the one on the right.

damn you, I am always angelic. ALWAYS!

Anyway, its a super great artwork ivy - the shadows and shading on the skin are really good and I really love the slightly grainy texture of it that gives it more depth.

The Graces were different goddesses. The Graces were the children of Zeus and Eurynome. There were nine Muses all together, led by Calliope. The Muses were the daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, the goddess of memory. So the Muses and the Graces are half-sisters.

This is the Classical Greek version; however, there are older versions which are interestingly different in some respects. If curious, I suggest using an unabridged copy of "The Greek Myths" by Robert Graves as reference as it is the definitive work on the subject. But as it appears you're rather knowledgeable re mythology, you probably already know all this. Whatever, all my best, always...
