World building? No, I need to know what my characters lips look like

This was a new experience.

Disembodied lips look weird and creepy, I'm not sure if it's in my style specifically, or in general? I've been staring at these for too long @<@ Maybe they're creepy in this sense because without the head, there're no limits, and the lips can go on for days! Pascal and Ichabod are already competing to see who can escape the face first.

While fleshing out these lips (so to speak) I took the same chance to finally figure out their owners varying skin tones, really just for personal reasons, since the comic will be black and white this time around ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

And thank goodness for that, I hate to admit it, but I was under great stress while working on this thing. This face hole chart wasn't gonna be worth it if I didn't go all the way though, so here we are!

Regardless, I will say Pascal's were the most fun both to sketch and colour.
