Synopsis:
Thicker Than Blood takes place in the 17th century era, it is a fictional world where humans co-exist with the demonic creatures of mythology. We follow the story of a young man named Salvador and his extraordinary experiences whilst serving as a royal soldier of The Five Crowns. A guild founded by the first five Nobles, whom centuries ago, released the city from the terrible reign of the vampire lord, Anubis. To this day, the royal soldiers continue to defend the city's populace against the demonic servants left behind by the vampire lord.

I can see the European influence in the way you draw faces. It's like a modern blend of Classical art and Renaissance portraits. It's wonderfully unique!

You are really capturing the ambience! I remember working at a silversmith workshop in an old french-styled building. Needless to say the place was crammed with metalwork and paintings in baroque and roccoco style (as well as tools and stuff unfinished), but there is something about the lights and the colours and porportions and those wooden floors that shows you've just nailed it. It feels like a real place. I don't know if you got your inspiration from somewhere real, but if I had to guess, I would swear you visited my old workplace. Cheers!

The detail in this page is something to behold. From the range of expressions on little Judah's face to the incredibly beautiful carvings in Raphael's office, the effect is just stunning. I especially love the first two panels of Judah with the closeup allowing you more detail in colouring his face. Sal's posture as he looks over his shoulder is awesome and the beautiful progression of Judah's timid thankyou is pure loveliness. Beautiful work as always.
