Interesting! It's difficult to tell what's going on here. Seems juxtaposed a bit. Is the syringe drawing OUT or injecting?Β
Gosh, how do I explain this? I've typed three times and erased it...
The upper portion of the pepper looks shriveled compared to the lower portion, but it's what has the color - so if it were being injected, one would expect that the injection site would look plumper, rather than shriveled.Β
Or if the color were being sapped from it, one would expect the shriveled portion to be the grayer portion.
This piece really got me thinking! And yet also confused.

Well, the basic idea was to give it the colour, the life, back with the injection. That's why only the 'head' is red and the rest is still grey.
