Graphic Design != Web Design. They are not interchangeable and have completely different skillsets.. I wish clients understood that..

I agree, however the reason I put graphic design is because, to those who would be interested, it covers a wider range of graphic tasks, which I on the back of the card specifiy to include web design.
I do a bit of everything and I'm still kind of exploring where I want to go from here.

nice, but as a graphic designer it may be wise to own your own website and email rather than gmail and deviantart. definitely link to deviantart, but it looks bad without your own site to show your work. websites are cheap, and if you are serious about your work you reputation depends on it.

i work at a printer now, it DEFINITELY helps with your design to know exactly how things are printed. work for a printer for a year or so, it will totally change the way you think/create stuff.

Yeah you're right. I'm working with someone to try to get one up soon, but for me website design has really been more of a hobby than anything. I'm still in high school so its far from being my "career" so to speak, but even so it is important for me to get my own site.
