Description "so here we are again to experience
the bitter, scalding end
and we're the only ones who can perceive it
but others sing of beauty
and the story that has unfolded
as one that deserves praise and ritual"

amazing textures, the straight way down of those lines, vertically and horizontally depressed, the tittle suits it... we all have some pessimistic lines inside, they float when u stop moving... it's all about to walk... like starting new things. This reminds me a conflict with myself I had before going back home for x-mas, so how about to draw optimistic or pessimistic and everybody is partying... sorry but maybe it's a good thing that u're artwork make to think beautiful art Ikhon

i went to visit a friend in Georgia one summer and we drove around with "Do What You Want" on repeat all week. i must've heard that song well over a thousand times. It always seems like i've got alot of stories involving BR

last friday i was out drinking at this pub / café / place (3b) that everyone goes to.
they usually play boring music, but that night 'no control' was played.

and i got effing hyperactive and loud.

my friend (the same one from the other story) went to one of their shows and stole a few guitar picks and the setlist for me.

the day they stop making records will be a sad day for punk rock.

and yes, indeed.
although i havent developed that much of a liking for their recent stuff.
the process was decent, though.

i liked The Empire Strikes First, sounded more angry and punky like their old stuff, but still some musical sophistication like the later stuff

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

ikhon In reply to nurtured-futility [2005-11-30 01:31:49 +0000 UTC]

the process kinda took up the torch from no control, but i feel empire is step backwards again, too poppish.

not a bad album, though (they are actually one of the few bands i can say that about).

👍: 0 ⏩: 1

nurtured-futility In reply to ikhon [2005-11-30 12:53:04 +0000 UTC]

i don't know if i'd call it pop, more accessible perhaps, but at any rate it's a sight better than American Idiot
if a band can be around for 25 years and not have a bad album, then they must've only released one
