-Story-
Callista woke in the middle of the night. Her spiritual nerves rang like alarm bells. She got up and stumbled across her room, legs like fragile twigs. What was going on?
As she tried to pinpoint the force she was feeling, she roamed into the hallways. She didnt want to wake the preiests, so she walked on the fronts of her foot.
Nothing. The feeling was there, but there was nothing to find.
"Callista?" came a feeble, ancient voice.
She turned and saw her spiritual mentor, Zeniclon, standing behind her, hand stretched out as if to touch her. His wethered skin seemed taunt and smooth all at once. Comforting. Like a Grandfather. "Did I wake you?" Her soft voice asked.
"No, No.... Is something wrong?" His eyes were so kind.
"No, Master. I just thought I heard something. My mistake." She bowed to him respectfully and wandered back to her room. Strange.
The cut of her dress was making the fabric of her nightgown stick to her skin as she settled back onto her bed. She shut her eyes as if to fall back asleep.
If the sickening feeling of someone lying next to her wasnt what made her eyes snap open, it was the cool hand pressed to her leg that did.
"Hello Beautiful..." Murmured the deep, dark tone of the demon whose lips were only centimeters from her ears.
She looked over her shoulder, sucking in a breath, his name following. "Shaitan."
She threw her arm back, trying to push him away as he leaned only closer to her.
"Miss me?"
May Aphrodite and Eros be wrong with this choice..... she thought, feeling her heart lift with his words.
