Never been to Rock City. Or at least, the big one, think i went to the little one underneath it.
And yeah i know a few peeps in Leeds, we have a giggle when us southerners head up!!

the rig - was it a goth gig? or black metal - that's where they usually have those - or if it was hardcore it would have maybe been in disco 2 the smaller room with the hexagonal dance floor

No it was hardcore, Norma Jean and Beecher. It was teeny tiny.
