Stimming is a term for self stimulative behaviors like shaking/flapping/repetitive movement as a form of comfort or anxiety relief! Anyone can stim but it's a big factor for people with ADHD and Autism in particular

well, now you know what it's called!! I only found out that stimming was a thing last year even though i've known i have autism since i was like 8. a lot of autistic people don't know about stimming/don't know that what they're doing is called stimming and i feel like it should be a more known thing!
