I love how this workes perfectly without outlines, even though we all know them in combination with these ponies just too well.
The lights and shadows work really good. It makes especially the Mane and Tail of Sunset appear really smooth. Twilights on the otherhand seem a little bit flat ... but that's just her hair and got less to do with your work in shading.
BUT I think there is some shadow missing by the hind legs. There where the belly meets the leg. Additionally I have the feeling Sunsets neck is a little bit to thick.
Besides these little things this is really amazing and I hope you continue this type of artwork!
