I've spent a bit of time on this image, playing around with hair (mostly) and eyes (my two favorite things)...or and the lips. I wouldn't say I was lazy...but...this is the finished result. In the animated gif, you get a glimpse of the original photo and seeing as I spent FOREVER on this I really do consider it an airbrush/painting, but it's a combination of photomanipulation and paint work in Photoshop.

I probably spent an hour and a half getting the hair just right and a little more time tweaking it.

Merlan is a Telempath/Postcognitive character of mine who is also gunning for Detective (if only her abilities would shut the hell up and let her settle). Currently, she's Security Chief at a mutant training facility in the mountains of Colorado. She's been suspended without pay due to an incident where a john said she choked him. IAD is investigating her. What really happened? Pent up frustration kinda...got away from Merlan and the guy really did try to choke himself with the handcuffs he was wearing.

Anyway, this is Merlan O'Keefe with hair a bit blonder than usual. Really, she had dark blonde hair...but I got carried away. Hee.

Photoshop CS and Wacom tablet were used.
