Description
Quite quick and cartoony picture of Edwin, enjoying his life. Probably the last drawing 'till I come back from a short trip to the UK, so it's quite logical to make it about somebody British

I'd say this turned out quite good overall, though I often wonder how this character remains so calm given the circumstances of what they have to deal with.
I think my favorite parts of this is the look and detail of the gun as well as the detail and accessories of the uniform; both turned out great here.
The color is also very smooth overall here, and I think the light shading helps quite a bit.

Edwin probably was stressed inside but tried to appear calm and cheerful, saying "there're enough gloomy faces already". He was much more visibly stressed after the war (in the main universe).
I like drawing guns and uniforms, so I added more details to them

True, and that can be an admirable quality, looking sure and calm for others even if your not 100% certain yourself.
Indeed, I'd say those are usually the best parts of your artwork most times; though Its interesting seeing you experiment with different "looks" for how you make your characters as well.
