Love the detail, lines, and colors on the suit.
The head/face looks like an actual fox though, not really an anthro. Like there's a guy ducking into his suit who stuffed a fox into the top of it or something. (I suppose it does look pretty realistic though, if the foxes we know of had human shaped bodies after the neck).
That said, fantastic work on the fur/lines detail, great work also on the sepia tone.

This time I decided to go for more realistic style, so made the head more animal-like, but I like your idea of him just having a stuffed fox on his head

Well I'd say it definitely captures a realistic style well, so mission accomplished on that front. It could be a stuffed fox, or it could just be a really well trained fox too, either possibility is pretty humorous.
Indeed, but only because anthros are mostly human in shape/form, so we think of it more like a Minotaur or centaur rather than a natural organic creation.
Of course, keep up the great work.
