W-wowwww.... After a looooot of time, I finish my OC Fanhir Nives Kal'ehr doll!!!!
I'm so proud of this work! This is my forst OOAK, based from a Barbie.
Ahahahahahah.... Is so full of mistake, but in truth, I'm so happy to make this doll!
It's was to difficult, especially for change all the hairs, to sew the dress... So difficult!

I think to don't will make other, because..... Lol, because I only wish a doll of Fanhir, and, because the amazing BJD are soooo exspensive, I preferrer to make by my hand a Fanhir doll...
I'm repeat.. As is full of mistake, I'm so proud of my work!

Yes.... I take the title from an old my draw of Fanhir... That was my first experiment (failed) of semi-realistic, and I think the title is perfect for this moment...
This made using base doll such as Barbie,. I repaint and costume them all to be a completely different style from the original doll. Each doll is a one-of-a-kind design.
I am in no way related to the Robert Tonner, Mattel, Jakks, or Ashton Drake companies. I only use their fashion dolls to display my OOAK creations.

I think it looks well-made and hardly looks like a Barbie at all. The details are stunning and looks meticulous created and placed, down to those colored nails. I can see that you've put a lot of time in creating this piece.

I started this challenge since I saw the they're just very cold as expressions, perfect for Fanhir... And I love their faces...
But when I saw the prices of those dolls .... I'm dead!
They are really expensive...
So surfing the web, I saw the idea of change Barbie ( OOAK ), and... Well, I wondered why I could not do it myself!
I started months ago, but then I abandoned (absurd, after having all the transplanted hair, work very hard, I had abandoned him because I was undecided on how to sew a dress... And from there I was almost forgetting!)
Now that I finished, I'm really happy!
Is full of mistakes, but... Well .... I made this doll!

Ahaahhaha.... First.... I say a mistake: when I transplanted hair of Barbie (originally had red.... It's this Barbie Top-Model: [link] ... I bought it because it was the only one that had clear skin.... All Barbies are so tanned), I was wrong and broke a piece of hea .... And then, almost has an empty hole on the skull (a little splatter, so that ).... I covered with the band! :rofl.

Oh wow, this looks so totally diffrent! 
Well, my one was made so diletantic, that I made it a wig instead of making the hair in another way and cut off the blonde hair (but not totally so when you look very careful at her you can still see some blonde hair under the wig sewed on her head and this is still bothering me! -.- One of the many things I have to change on her one day...)
I think I will make new photos of her soon (I only have some reeealy years old ones from the old face paint...). When I get really brave I might even upload them here, but I still have to think about it.

Yay for Fanhir doll!!! I believe it was really hard... and yeah, sewing small dresses is a pain *I used to make dresses for my Cindy and Veronika dolls as a child (they're all like Barbie - and Veronika is a Russian "Barbie" but simpler - her legs and arms don't bend)* I love the photo a lot - she's beautiful near the pond!
