8D MEET MY NEW CHILD~!

This is Smudge. He's been part of my life for about.... 2-3 days now? And I've never been happier.

Smudge is a grand total of 3-4 pounds, which apparently will increase rapidly as he grows up as kittens usually do. He's 12 weeks old today :3

Right now he's living in my room, shut in there so my other pets don't eat him ;__; We'll introduce them all eventually into one big happy family, but for now we're gunna let him get a bit bigger~

Now I must say, it's been a good while since I've had a kitten. In fact, Smudge has to be the youngest cat I've ever had =/ He's a handful, full of razor sharp teeth and claws that are rather painful ;__; He keeps me up at night, chews on my legs/ankles when I ignore him, and apparently doesn't know how to sleep, but I love him all the same ;__; He purrs like you wouldn't believe. Like, I'm amazed that this huge noise can come out of such a small creature.

When we dragged him to the vet, they couldn't hear his heartbeat he was purring so loud. So they turned on water and distracted him 8D He's also very easy to distract <3

Getting a 12 week old kitten to sit still and look patiently up in the camera while still being spontaniously cute is HARD! D: But, so very worth it <3

Final note: I really like how freaky and dark his eyes showed up in this. They're actually a coffee brown, but I liked the effect the lighting gave them~
