This is my second time drawing this picture. The first, Amadeo is wayy crappy. I think its cool to see my progress.

Um...hrm. Peach, dull peach, sepia, burnt umber, rouge, old rose...
Lots of blending with my fingers.

Well its all about finding the right combination and experimenting with the colors. I usually start off with a neutral base, a color closest to the overall skin tone. Then I do my pencil work. Then I add my browns, and then the rougues. After that its just adding highlights and then the black and eyes. +shrugs+ I have a very formulated system...lol. Sorry if i rambled to much.

I usually do pencil work first and then add colour, and have to do pencil work all over again because it disappears.. And No problem, ramble as much as you like! I like to know how people draw people

Well the kid in the refrence photo actually has an off centered nose and a weird eye. This time around I kinda tweaked things a bit.
