Unfortunately, Paul Mercier is not voicing Leon in Degeneration, at least, not according to IMDB.com. (A shame, because he made Leon sound hot, despite the cheesy one-liners. "Sounds more like an alien invasion to me!") Nor is Alyson Court voicing Claire, which I find to be even more atrocious. Come on! She is the voice of Claire! You just don't mess with that! I know, I was disappointed too. [link]

According to IMDB, R.C. Ormond is voicing Leon (haven't seen much of his work except as an extra on the American version The Office as some panicked dude jumping off a boat.....not a speaking part at all.) And Lori Rom is supposed to be the voice of Claire. Again, I've only seen her in an episode of House M.D (my favorite show) and I heard some of her voice, and I'm like... "Ehhhhh, not sure I like it, but I'll have to hear it in context with the visuals."

Rumor has it that this will not be a theater release, it'll go straight to DVD (which I don't mind at all) and the only known info on the release date is that is supposed to be released in Japan this year. No idea about Europe or North America.

Anyhoo, the anticipation for Degeneration has got me drawing fanart like crazy.

NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! I feel as though I might just hide in a corner and cry until...well...I'm not sure when I might come out. XD I was so looking forward to a performance by Paul Mercier. He doesn't just make Leon sound hot, he makes everybody he voices sound hot (although Leon is by far the hottest).

I honestly don't know who any of these people are.... ^_^;;;; *slightly sheepish*

Yeah, I've read that on several sites, that it'll only be released in Japan. Which is OK. At least it's in English dub. I'd pay exorbitant amounts of money to get it. I really really would.

Oh I forgot: It's being released here Direct to DVD and Blu-ray, so no theaters for us. But who cares? I get to enjoy it on my Big Comfy Couch *lame pun*

Not yet. I suspect that if they're smart marketing-wise, they should release it before RE5 comes out. So I hope it comes out this year, lol.

It's so great that it's not just being released in Japan. That was a good move by the Capcom people, as angry fangirls such as me and you would've torn them apart with our bare hands. XD It's also probably a good thing that it's being released just to DVD, as fangirls across the nation would annoy lots of people in theaters by squealing and screaming every time Leon twitches his eyebrow XD. He has sexy eyebrows....

I'm so happy Paul Mercier voiced him.... Soooooooo happy.
