Wow, that is amazing! I love seeing the "in the making of" pictures of people's artwork. Who is the guy supposed to be? I don't want to repeat "he looks like the Merchant from Resident Evil 4" since you're probably sick of hearing it.
I gotta admit, I don't understand what some people get out of stealing other people's artwork. I just don't understand why they would want the bad rep of being an art stealer.

hahahaha, yes, I've heard the "Merchant from RE4" before many times. But this character is actually from a fantasy book series by Elizabeth Haydon. I love RE4 and the Merchant, but this is Achmed, one of the main characters in her series, started back in 1999. He's an assassin, and he's famous for always wearing his black robes and veiling his face. (He's very ugly.) He's also my favorite.
Yeah, it sucks that other people want to take other people's work and tout it as their own. Why can't they instead just learn to draw like the rest of us?

Oh, okay. Well, I bet the Merchant is pretty ugly, too (I have a guess on what he actually might look like, if you're interested... I just have to dig out my old Merchant geek out theory I posted years ago).

Nicely done! What program did you use to make The Brother? Just wondering, lol. I really hope this guy is banned who in their right mind would steal artwork and get a kick out of it? What a shame. Anyway, I got a print screen of you picture on his DeviantArt with the date and everything that saved in my Photoshop, just let me know if you need it.

I did this all in Photoshop CS2 with my Wacom tablet, using references ranging from model shots to fabric textures.

You know thats so not cool that people steal artwork, Its... degrading yourself really like your not capable to produce your own works. And its really sad if all you want is pageviews, he's gonna get it but not because people love his work!

Seriously. The compliments you receive from your own hard-earned work is far more satisfying than the false praise you get when you know it's meant for someone else's work. When it's all said and done, you should realize that yeah, they said "good job" to your face, but the compliment was directed to whoever really did the painting..... so essentially, you're just an empty shell, with no true talent substance to show for the hard work.
I don't know about them, but that would make me feel terrible to know that I'm really just a fraud!

Exactly! That's why I'll never understand art stealers. I don't understand what is so appealing of the idea of being an "empty shell" and nothing more than a fraud.
Maybe I'm too honest and tend to self guilt easily.
I mean, I feel bad if I don't properly state my references or even borrow poses. To do what art stealers do... the amount of guilt would cripple me. What am I saying? I wouldn't even steal at all, nothing to gain from being a stealer.

I would feel the same way if I were a fraud! and really if all you do is post other peoples work your not even trying to find your own style! Its another form of PLAGERISM!!!!! (i hope I spelled that right!)Seriously though, its so not right!! You can't steal somthing and say its yours you have to practice hard to be good at what you do! I mean I know that Im not all that good with drawing people and I so want art lessons, but Im not gonna start stealing other artwork, I would really feel as though I've sinned because it something that I didn't come up with.
And I know this is alot to read Im sorry for it its just I hate art thieves! I got so mad during my spring semester I worked on a project in my computer graphics class and this guy in my class stole my artwork and did some minor changes to it but OH you could so tell it was mine! I'm just glad I had friends to calm me down and an awesome teacher who knew right away it was mine, he even calmed me down and had a talk with that guy!
