Description

Part 26 (Part 27Part 25 ,  Part 1 )

(So obviously I’m not gonna be able to finish it before season 2 starts to air in some (well most of) countries, nor watch it. If ever. Anyway, what I wanted to say is that I wrote the story in autumn year ago so if there would be something that would somehow - I don’t know - go against something in new season or on the contrary something that would look to similar (not that I was so self-confident but you know, coincidence is a crook), it’s accidental)
(Please don’t judge the background (well yeah there is something in the background and I was trying to do it according to screenscaps from the show you know!) and colouring too hard - I know it’s not very fine but I’m doing my best really (friendly reminder that I do it traditionally, by hand, picture by picture))

It is a reveal story that I had in my head since about November (last year - 2016). It is my first ever try to make a comic so I guess there gonna be some offence against comic rules here and there (also my poor editing skills), still I hope someone will like it and enjoy as I am when drawing it.

It is my version of possible reveal story and though I haven’t actually read any (fanfiction nor comic or so) I guess there’s lots of them around so I guess it’s possible there might be some similarities, but if so, it wasn’t intentional, right?

Still - Please don’t repost, edit or use anyhow, I’m putting lots of effort into it and I want to decide myself where and how would I present it. Thank you.

Marinette trying to pretend she's not nervous is soooo convincing... As well as her logic.
Also, I always like to notice some tiny details, like these croissants waiting for Chat Noir

Thank you very much! I was enjoying drawing this a lot too
Aww, thank you! I was wondering if someone noticed the croissants but no one ever mentioned them (well no one mentioned almost anything ever to be honest. Anyway.), so I'm glad you noticed them and mentioned it! I like to put there little details and hints there though not always have enough patience for that. (plus it might not be noticeable on the final not so perfectly taken picture (or updated or whatever)). By the way - when you notice the details, did you notice with the part(s) with Alya on the balcony Chat hiding on the roof? I mean before it was clear because he came back to balcony?

I sometimes like putting such details even if no one notices them It's like I had a secret. And I like discovering such details. Once I read one of Terry Pratchett's books where a character was solving sudoku, but in Discworld it was called Jikan no Muda. At first I didn't know what that meant so I ignored it. After that, I learnt Japanese for a while. And when I was rereading the book, I knew that that name meant A Waste of Time. I bet not many people would know it anyway, but I was really happy about it.
No, I admit I only noticed Chat after your comment... I was focused on the foreground (and it may be that because of the photo the colours didn't stand out that much). But I might've noticed it another time. I like books, films, comics where you can discover new meanings every time you watch or read them. It's a bit similar with classic Disney cartoons: I liked them as a kid, but as I was growing up, I discovered much more meanings in them. Especially Lion King: it was amazing when I was little, but now I appreciate it even more because I can see a deeper meaning.

"like I had a secret" - exactly!
Oh, Pratchett's Discworld is full of little things and hints that you can discover with more readings! (as for Discworld sudoku I think our translator (I mean translator of Pratchett's book in czech langugae) made a note to it because the meaning seems familiar to me when you wrote it here . He (translator) does that pretty often to explain some things. Sometimes he wrote the whole explanation there sometimes, he does just a little hint. And sometimes he just add his own little related notes, it's fun )

Heh, yes, the background is mostly just a unclear smudge in the pictures so no wonder you didn't notice him, on the other hand I didn't want him to be seen too clearly

Yes, I like rereading books that I like (and rewatch some movies) too and it always make me happy when I find someone new that I didn't notice last time. And of course sometimes like you said you see things differently with a rewatch/reread somewhen later, it's great

Our Discworld translator does a great job. Sometimes he does add some notes but it's rarely - mostly when the reference is not popular in Poland and it's important to understand the book. Like in Last Continent he explained the meaning of the song Waltzing Matilda. He also leaves his funny notes... but in most cases, he doesn't add any. Which is nice because when I do discover some hidden meaning, I feel like a genius/detective!
