CS6. 5-6 hours.Thank you for viewing my illustration, she has been changed from the original concept in the fact that she is no longer Joan.
edit I changed the main picture slightly, just added some width to the sheath.

I hate the boob plate. Like, if you do that, the armour loses it's structural integrity and you'll be dead. I enjoed designing her!

Although it doesn't tell a story, the strength of the image is significant. I appreciate the blending of Western and Eastern art tropes, as well.
Do bear in mind, though- the wrist is straighter when drawing a sword from the scabbard. This is especially the case with western sheathes, which tend to hold the blade snug. I consider it a small, but important detail.

after the creation of one one my characters who used to be ambidextrous (but is now left handed and right eye dominant) I'm such a perfectionist that weapons and tasks had to be assigned to the correct hand.
