thanks for the lovley words... yeah, i like to spice it up with a bit of something from the street. alot of my work, well pretty much all of it is layer 'pon layer 'pon layer, this gives it a good sense of depth and history. sometmes i do a painting and think it is finished until i look at it again one day (maybe months later) and add a little something, to make a completely new painting. i love layers... comes from my love of street art.

well it's all about longing, barry. and not being able to see the truth or happiness. it's a piece about losing or having love betrated. sadness and rejection, about bearng all , giving all and not getting anything in return. think about that!
