I'm so sorry this is so overdue! I've been so swamped this fall, but here you go! I hope you like it!
This painting was quite exciting to me as it led to my first time ever creating my own photoshop brushes to help me paint the curly fur! With some more work I might later release them on my gumroad!

I'm so late waaah but this one never gets old ;o; It's so beautiful! I don't even remember what I commented on instagram, so mind me if I'm repeating myself but girl.
This is such a detailed work I can't take it. The curls must have taken ages to master, but you truly mastered them. You even added that fur onto his tail, which he's not supposed to have but he still does. Like Kake said there's so much to see, you just can't get enough.
The whole picture has this amazing feel, and even though it's technically one of your best works, it somehow reminds me of your works from around 2013, which was the time I adored your works because they were so emotional. I don't know if it was your intention, but it truly consists of my three favorite things on this planet: lake/water, my doggo and sunset like light. I can imagine a scenario of me standing on the beach playing with him. It's just so heartwarming.
Thank you so much for this! I can't thank you enough that you spent time on me and did something so gorgeous. It brightened up my mood the day I saw it, I couldn't quite grasp it was real. And it still brightens up my day every time I see it<3 THANK YOU ZOMBIE

I'm also well aware that water is special to you and since Rafa is a water spaniel it was even more inviting to paint in some water! The sunset was a happy coincidence! I added it for the effect but didn't know it was one of your three favourite things! Now I know though! <3

This must be one of my all time favourite pieces from you! The rendering of the curly fur is amazing and I adoooore all the colors you have used in this. I mean none of these hues actually are amongst my favourite colors but merged together like this makes the picture look warm, lively and full of emotion! And that water looks amazing holy shit.
There's so much to see and I can't get enough of this ;-; SOOO BEAUTIFUL
