Someone said once that the absorb stones are similar to the infinite stones from the movie guardians of the galaxy, but I don't watch super hero movies and was unaware of this. The absorb stones are actually inspired by the Eyecons from Ghost, Dragon Balls, and the Sphires from Dyna.
