Some elements of games in the past are just better. You don't get challenges any more and not much adventuring. As much as I rave over Skyward Sword, it needs more free adventure and less of the Captain Obvious/Exposition Fairy stuff from Fi.

Yeah. Also, I find First Person Shooters and Sports games kinda redundant. Especially these days where half the time you'd be better off doing it in real life.

That's why I prefer platformers and fighting games. At least they change it up once in a while. Hell, even in RPGs, they keep it fresh.
But in FPSs, the only things they really change are the cosmetics, drivable vehicles and arsenal. That's it.
And they hardly even TOUCH new material for the sports game, BECAUSE THERE ISN'T ANY.

This made me realize how much I actually feel like Cranky Kong sometimes. Especially at my school where everyone just plays shooters and such and hates on the classics, only to be 'cool'... ugh

: And another thing! We didn't even have all these newfangled drawing software applications! Nope! If we wanted to draw something, we had to use good old pencil and paper! If we wanted to color something, we had to buy the colors ourselves! ..... And another thing! We were lucky if we had an eraser to undo our mistakes! Nowadays, we take the easy way out by using a push of a button! Whatever happened to the days of painting over our mistakes?
