Vampire Knight Zero Kiryu fan artFull view please
Well this took longer than expected
I had a hard time with this, but in the end I like it It was fun to learn how to render wood with copics
and I tried different styles to color roses. I really didn't have the time to just sit down and concentrate to it properly (it's done bit by bit), but the whole prosess with all the starting over(s) and learning new things was worth the time.My scanner doesn't recognise any light lavender/violet tones, which is a nuisance when scanning Zero pic =/, so those tones came out blue, sorry.
Tools: Mechanical pencil for lineart, Copic ciao and sketch markers, colored pencil for adding light.

my scanner is also always make my drawing look weird than the original one. i think maybe you should just edit the picture after scanning? (like the saturation or brightness or level?)
owww.. don't say thatt my zero style is very different than hino style pffttt

I can talk only on my own behalf. For me Copics were difficult at first, but at the same time extremely fascinating colors to work with, which was for me the reason to keep practicing to use them properly. But you can only tell if you try them. I bought 3 colors first to try them out, and just when I fell in love with them bought more little by little.

The leaves on the roses look very realistic, like volume wise. Theres a pop out there that isn't in the rest of the picture

If had just one bad remark (don't hit meee): the white background turns a bit too white when scanned. But after all it's been drawn on paper. That's all!
