unlike the other members of the astor family, who thought of the books surrounding them with love and care - as symbols of their ancestry, a reminder of who they are, what they need to do in life, and a beacon of reassurance that they aren't alone in the world and that there was family when they needed it, elijah astor hated them. he hated being surrounded by them. he hated that the first thing he saw when he woke up and the last thing he saw before he fell asleep and all he would see throughout the day was shelves and shelves of books, feeling claustrophobic when he remembered that each of the many books that towered around him was an individual story, each page being something that somebody poured hours into and in turn that he lived in a house filled with millions of years that he wanted no part of. so he got out.

a while ago i realised all of my gallery was covered in warm colours so i was like... okay i shall sprinkle in some colder drawings!!! and now all of my gallery is cold colours help me?
this was a doodle that i started to work on in photoshop and yeah.... i do love photoshop but its.....SO slow....... like as in the lag is so bad but also just the interface is mleh and the bad colour picker stuff slows me down a lot,,,, i like how the brushes work but its aahhhhhhhhh so this is still very rough!!!!!!! do not judge me i got frustrated
