hello!!! i havent really done anything since june.
ive been wanting to make this painting for the last 11 months, never to any avail until now,,, props to anybody who gets the reference in the title/description > it's pretty obscure.
i went to a funfair 11 months ago,, which was the last place i went to for the next 7 or 8 months..i was pretty shy about actually going there, but i mean i never turn down a trip to the funfair, so i went and,,, had a really great time. there was a tiny arcade which there are even quite a few photos on my instagram of. a lot of really life-changing stuff happened then,,, not that i could even possibly explain.
im sorry,,,, this is a bit of an incoherent and cryptic ramble.
i finally did sketch this out properly,, actually thinking about the piece and what i wanted it to look like- a couple days ago. i didn't ever intend this to be a vent, but if im entirely honest, it has become one,, even back to all the other times i tried to draw it, it's always just been stress relief. but this time i did finish it. because i drew for hours and hours and hours.
there's a lot of mistakes here, that i dont really care to fix,, especially the perspective and stuff---- just dont look too closely at anything.,,
i thought way too hard about each of the games here,, i could literally make them all theyre so planned out

but here it is--- and i finally have some LB themed art!! the entirety of LB is a very neon/blacklit/bright colour aesthetic,, it's been pretty fun to figure out how to draw that sort of stuff here. and also...... AARON IS FINALLY IN A PAINTING LMAO even if he is a silhouette (im so sorry aaron)
long story short, this is arcade in the bowling alley where aaron worked, he and seb hung out a lot here. a lot of really life-changing stuff happened here, too. if you have a good eye, you could maybe spot a wip or two featuring art located here, in my recent art dump B)) i kinda wanna go back and finish those, now

also,, actually while i remember!!--- the song in the speedpaint (lewis takes off his shirt) .. if you like it, you should watch this version because it was the one i heard first and its one of the most beautiful things in the world, at least to me.
(sidenote, listening to owen pallett play violins makes me gay. for violins.)
