I wanted to upload this ages ago but I was too weak to walk the mile to the library to scan it so I waited untill I got home with the rest of my sketches.I got really sick a few weeks back, and when I get fevers of a certain temperature, I get fever blisters. I had THREE just in time for Valentine's Day, and we were cracking jokes about how no guy would dare kiss me.
So I got to thinking, who else has unhappy lips at the moment? Nathan of course! Alan busted his lip when they got in the fight.
So the following scene ensues:
Valentine's Day party. Everyone is off dancing or snogging their significant others (seriously, almost everyone I knew got together or engaged this year lol), and Nathan, still sulking, comes in, trying to be discreet so he can just get this over with and be done with the affair.
But wait, there's his crazy fan, Caera, sitting off by herself, looking bored too, and there's something wrong with her lips too! How odd...
Well, surely it can't hurt to just have a small chat once, and then get a restraining order later. So Nathan sits in the chair next to Caera's. Caera tries very hard to conceal her fangirling.
"So..." Nathan tries to make small talk. "Uh..."
Knowing exactly what Nathan is trying to say, Caera responds, "Fever. And yours?"
Nathan, knowing Caera will know eventually if she doesn't already, admits, "Testosterone."
And so we have a nice, awkward evening together with our unkissable lips.

lol ok so I'd kiss Nathan's busted lip anyway, but you can't kiss a girl with a fever blister.

It looks like TFAW has Jenny's cover for #4 in stock. IDW has it in stock, but you can't pick your cover there. So... if you wanted my & Chris's cover, you have a 50/50 chance from IDW, lol.

I guess I'll try. No offense to Jenny but I don't like her covers much. They're great and all, but I like yours better. lol Either way, it's not the end of the world. I just want to get the copies now since I actually have some money.

I've never done illegal drugs, though kids in high school and college are not exactly discreet with weed...I've had only a little trouble with them bothering me with their secondhand smoke, but my brother had a group of stoners sitting outside his apartment so much that he sprayed himself with lysol, set himself on fire, ran screaming from the apartment in front of them, ran around the corner, put himself out, and came back all normal like. lol They never came back after that.

Yeah... I went to artschool. The amount of drug-induced-stupidity there is astounding.

I had a seizure at prom, though I'm not epileptic. I had a speaker blow right behind my head. My hearing is superhuman. Not a good combo.

lol I didn't want to go, but my friends wouldn't hear of it and set me up on a blind date with this poor kid who just wanted a fun night but had no one to go with. He was quite gentlemanly. He paid for dinner and my share of the limo fee so I only had to get my hair done and my ticket. Actually, I think he bought my ticket too...if I remember correctly I got one but he already bought them so I gave my friend one because her bf didn't go to our school...lol
Yeah, and I was back on the floor dancing within the hour. Nothing like that was unusual in those days. I wasn't well back then and everyone knew because I was a fairly well-known girl around school. Not popular, but the whole 6 degrees of separation was down to about 2, maybe 3.
Meh. Either way I'm glad to say aside from the hiccups I had back in Jan/Feb I've been healthy for the past year or so.

Hehe, I went to homecoming with my friend John. If he'd asked me to prom I'd have gone with him but he didn't. I felt bad about homecoming because I got trampled and got a stilletto THROUGH my foot and had to go home on him. :/ Dances and I don't get along. lol

I still have the scar. I was helped off the dance floor bleeding and the girl who stepped on me laughed. I found out just recently that after she "disappeared" (I thought she ran off) she was actually removed from the premesis and banned from any more school dances. The admins didn't tell me this when I was getting first aid. A teacher told me after the girl had a screaming fit when she wasn't allowed to buy a prom ticket this year (the teacher said it was written down that she had "assaulted" another student and pierced her foot with her shoe. There wasn't really any deliberate attack but how many people get their feet stuck through with a 5 inch heel? None but me, plus she did take sick pleasure out of the fact she could have crippled me).

Yeah, if anyone had asked me I'd have said she simply wasn't looking where she was going, yes, but that she wasn't sorry for putting a hole through my foot and should have gotten in trouble for wearing dangerous shoes. Going as far as banning her from prom was a bit harsh, though her parents probably threatened to sue the school and she got in anyway.

Eww. The whole thing is so gross....! I get so squeamish hearing peoples injury-stories, lol!!! Banning from prom does seem like a bit much, though she does sound like a bit of a jerk.

lol it's funny. I've been through my share of interesting medical incidents, and they don't phase me in the slightest. But if I hear about other people having them, or see it on TV, or even when I would walk through the cafeteria when people were donating blood I'd freak out (I never ate in the cafeteria during donor week. The smell drives me mad. Plus people ask if you're giving and I am not allowed).

Gag me with a SPOON. Bella is a freak (even for a vampire). I just happen to have superhuman hearing and smell. Makes up for my weak eyes.
I read about Stephen King saying Smeyer can't write worth a darn. Wow. I think if anyone wanted to insult me or my writing all they'd have to tell me is I was just like her, or worse. Anyone says that I'll never pick up a pen again. lol
