I'm amazed at those results with the close up filter on the 18-55, thats really sharp.. I love it. Is it a single +4 or seperate ones stacked?

A real macro lens is just to expensive for me so I bought a close up filter and it really works. Going to buy a +8 one next month or so (:

Yes, some are so cheap they can't be very good and others are waaaay too expensive. I think Hoya do a reasonably priced set of three..

Mine is from Marumi and was about €20,- and I have to say I'm really happy with it. But I'm sure those close up filters from Hoya are great aswell. Heard a lot of good things about them.
