Well then thanks again. I took a look at your gallery too and saw a little pic of a jackal. I was confused at first but then I figured out it was a jackal bouncing away after being shot. I don't know why they bounce, but they need to STOP BOUNCING! RAGE!

That pick *was* intended to be a skirmisher, but they're just the black people of Kig-Yars.

But yeah Halo uses the stupid physics for bullets, the "Every Action has an Equal and Opposite Reaction" law, but forgot that whole deal about mass and specific gravity effecting how a small (say 120grain) round hitting a target that weighs in around 120-150lbs, at say 2000fps (feet per second), which doesn't make much an impact on the over all mass of the target, but for some reason bungie just likes entertaining people with hilariously bad physics.

The only real life physics that they really care about is deflection for bouncing (bullets and nades), lighting/shadows, and clipping (areas affected by hits).

The bad physics have given me a few laughs though. On ODST I managed to get a brute chieftain stuck in a garbage can through a tiny slit. He spazed so hard that he made the game lag.

Infinitely exploding elephant planes in forge made the game crunch so hard.

It was son awesome to be able to ride in them without dying though. Replayed it in forge like a hundred times with friends.
