there is a little story that goes along with these kittens.

my sister recently quit her job, moved away, and got married. the girl that was hired to replace her quit on her first day alone and so my sister came back to work for the company until they found another replacement. last saturday, they were opening up packages, and one of the packages contained cabinets from indiana.

inside the cabinets were two little kittens, only three weeks old. so, my sister decided to take care of them until they are older. she is keeping the orange one, which has six toes on its two front feet. she would keep both, but she already has a beagle and her husband is not a cat person. i really want the other one, but i already have a cat and my parents will not have two cats.

call it fate or whatever, but before my sister moved, her cat was hit by a car (my featured deviation). now she has a new cat, which is good because she is not a dog person.
