To summarize...
Me: "Meh, I want to be part of the MK:Rebirth giant character thing, but surprise me with a character. I Don't care."
GBK666: "Nimbus Terrafaux."
Me: "... Who?!"
GBK666: "April Fool's gag character from EGM, only two blurry ass pics of him exist. [link] "
Me: "...Alright, sure why not."
With this I will be the first (and possibly only) person to do a fake character for the MK Project: Tribute. Oh and to all those people who wanted only ONE character and no one else and decided not to contribute, you suck for not taking a risk and in my book a bitch. In anycase, Nimbus I based on several things. One being the obvious Michael Jai White as Black Dynamite, the other is old school WWF wrestler the Junkyard Dog and Seanbaby articles from Cracked.com [link]
Also first black guy I've ever drawn. That and the blurry pic. had him fighting Kano so all the more fitting he's doing the same here.

whats a good tribute project worth without some WTF moments when you are a fan of something and thought you know the characters and have seen everything...something like Nimbus appears. There are a few more joke characters...google for pedro and mortal kombat as example...pedro however wont make it into this project..at least not under the first 80 drawings.

*note: Nimbus was announced back in 1992 ..Michael Jay White still was the afro american equivalent to Karate Kid at that time and still dreamt about being Jax in nearly 20 years
Its awesome to have even this fake character in the tribute project, and you did what you can since there are indeed only those 2 small fake screenshots of him
But i have the feeling we might see him next year in Mortal Kombat II (2012)

To be honest, looking through the other fake characters that "exist" I was kinda tempted to do the terrible Stryker with the awful color scheme who's name escapes me, but has disgusting colors. That or Meat for stupidity sake. I Only say this because man I hate my scanner fucked up the brown so much and even with editing it looks like ass, meh, another time.
Plus I think someone had to wander infront of a bus and do one character everyone asks "Who or what the fuck is this shit? I Ain't fav'ing this!" And that person is me, dammit!

sooner or later someone has to draw Zebron and well Belokk..and than there is ..Hornbuckle...there will no doubt be some funny entries in this project
if you want, you can still work on the nimbus picture if you want to try to edit the colors more, you have a whole month to upload your entry, its not like we are in a hurry

I Don't know, this picture has nothing to do with boobs...or in everyone else's case, My Little Pony.
Plus eventually I'll work on it and I HOPE someone gets around to doing the other April Fools characters so I'm not the only guy who pisses in the wind and hopes it splashes on an old person.
