This is for . Happy Birthday man!
It's his Megaman X OC, Laurel! She's a navigator for the Maverick Hunters. She may look cold and distant... but she actually cares a lot for the hunters she works with, making sure that they all get home alive. Basically... she's a real PRO.
As for the pic... I wanted to put a lot more junk on this. I wanted that hectic feel you see when things go South in Evangelion, with all the red screens whose only purpose seem to be to make the people in the command center panic. XD But I thought that might look obnoxious, and I'd HAVE to go monochrome on that IMHO so never mind. Also, is it weird that I think listening to this while looking at the pic kind of fits? I could imagine her watching / hearing her mates get wiped out (in slow motion) while the music was playing LOL. But nah, that's too much of a downer. Besides, she's a pro! She's ice cold while the red screens are trying to scare her. That's the kind of navigator you would want to have guiding you on your mission.

Also, the fact that Laurel has her full attention on the white screen as opposed to the glaring red ones really makes me feel as though she's a professional, that nothing will deter her attention from the task at hand.

Yeah, I wanted to show her all cold and still despite all that obnoxious shit happening around her (though it's much cleaner than I hoped). She actually looked much colder than this when I started, but I just couldn't help but put a little tinge of worry on her eyebrow.
