This met taps extra hard.It's been a while since the first one. About seven years ago to be exact:

I thought it would be nice to revisit it. Had a little fun with this. I'm sure the polishing stage would be just as fun (read: NOT).

Yes, this animation looks more powerful, energetic and lively!
I like how there's so much more movement going on, like the tilting of the head and helmet.
Not to mention, I feel like it looks more expressive! The way how he looks kinda mad and serious when he stomps. I mean, he's probably making the same, wide eyed, expression throughout the entire motion (as evident when the helmet flies up a bit to reveal his wide eyed look), but I feel like it adds power to the stomp! Like I feel he's saying "Yeah, we're doing this!", everytime he stomps the ground. Like a warriors dance
I also like the addition of the motions blur when he throws his foot down!
Man. All of this and I haven't even gotten to the flip! Which I think is the best addition out of this whole darn thing!
It animates so well! A short quick front flip, followed by a stomp, followed by a short hop from the impact! Really catches the personality of these guys!
You seem to do a really great job of animating expressions as you do drawing them! I'm thrilled to see more! And hopefully by the time you post another, I'll have read enough of my animation book to give a more deeper critique! (as in, i'll know how to use the appropriate terms

Nice. I always thought of it as a rockin' met to be honest. Although the higher foot here makes him seem like he's trying to get a reaction. I guess he just wants people to see his cool flip.XD

Aw, love it dude! Just got one minor detail to point out to you- the little rim on the helmet shrinks a bit close to the head on the back swing when he raises his foot. Aside from that, the proportions are perfect in each frame! These are some of the cleanest rough frames I've seen in quite a while, great work. It's a nice upgrade to your current icon- the little flip in there is very cute as well.
