Description
This is for Rockman's 28th Anniversary. And of course, it's late. Hey, what's new about that? For such a simple concept, it took me quite a while to finish.
But whatever, at least I have a decent pic for the occasion for a change.Anyway, this pic kinda creeped me out. Having a multi armed Rock like some Hindu god was a bit too outlandish for me. I just told myself, "whatever, just finish it!" and forged on. Other than that, not much to say about this. I guess I should note that despite this account being a Rockman fan gallery, it's pretty rare for me to draw the main guy himself.

Anyway, I really like the illusionary arms on the back of him reminiscing the original six weapons. And the lighting and shading is well done, too. So a great job on this!

True that Mega can only use one weapon at a time, but if he can use all of the weapons at once, he'd be dangerous as hell
During the "Blackout" story arc in Archie Megaman, in an act of desperation, he managed to fire all of his weapon arsenal at Ra Thor back and forth, almost as if he shot them all at the same time. Heavy scene man. Considering everybody he knows was gonna die if he loses there and then
I would enjoy watching Megaman fighting legions of robots with that kind of power tho. Awesome work^^

Yeah, I've heard of that scene! I wish I had access to the comic here. X__X Or maybe some day, someone would make a badass Megaman anime and put that scene in it. One can hope right?
Haha that's what I was saying. Rock with this multi armed look kinda feels a bit Hinu-ish, and I think a bit outlandish for the series. That's why I was kind of apprehensive of making the pic this way. I did it anyway. ^^

Now... this one I really should have commented on the moment it was released. I remember being a bit pressed for time at the moment, but that's no excuse why I haven't said anything up to now. Or even faved it, because this one is going straight to the Fav folder!
The visual imagery in this picture is so well done. The different hand positions that represent each of the robot master weapons was a nice touch (though I was kinda surprised that the 'finger-gun' didn't show up somewhere). The way you position them is also very impressive. I am able to abstractly remove all other arms and imagine the one remaining set to not be strangely positioned to Rock's base figure.
What I really like about this picture is what it symbolizes. When you go up against Mega Man, you're not fighting just another robot. You're fighting an army compressed into one body, who can quickly adapt new skills, weapons, and tactics to take you down any way he can. Anyone who fights Rock really has to be prepared for anything, because anything can come at them at any time.
A worthy picture for such an inspirational hero. This, I think is one of your best. Maybe not in detail and skill, but certainly in imagery and symbolism.

Yeah! That was the idea. I drew each arm like they were connected to Rock. It looked more obvious and natural in the sketch. Unfortunately, I had to move some arms around while I was progressing, so some of them aren't properly aligned anymore.
Rock is indeed a one man army. Having the force of 8 (6 in this case) battle ready robots behind him! I actually got a better concept from someone here. A bit clichΓ©, but I think it's gonna be nice. But unfortunately, it's too late. Maybe next anniversary, if I can.

Multi-armed Mega Man wielding a different wep from each robot master would be pretty OP. This is making me think of that other Capcom game, Asura's Wrath. Β The idea is great!
I see... Bomb Man... Fire... Ice... Elec... Cut and Guts? I don't remember the Mega man color schemes on the top of my head, but I like that added detail of the rock-paper-scissorsΒ gesture in one set of hands.

I would really love to see Megaman go Asura while wielding all weapons. Heck, just a short animation of Megaman going all gun-fu while quickly switching weapons would be badass. If only I could animate well.
