Description My part of an Art Trade with . Check her out!


She asked me to draw a fabulous looking Flash Man [link] (oh yeah, love those funky sounding guitar sections ). Though I don't really know what it means to be fabulous, I tried anyway.

I got stuck on a pic I was working on since last last week, so I shelved it and worked on this instead. Besides, she was already done with her part of the trade [link] . Had so much fun with this pic. In fact, I had so much fun, I'm gonna be in deep shit again tomorrow because I'll be late for work (again) for staying up too late.


I'm worried that the pic won't be clear enough to understand. But oh well. I really don't want to do this any otherway. I wanted so much to happen in this pic, but I just need to hold back or it'll be too cluttered. Much much more cluttered than it already is. XP

Ah, and speaking of Quick Man, I think one manga adaptation says he slows down time to make himself seem, well, quicker, which kind of defeats the running fast aspect of him.

LOL, but seriously.... I just blast away at him while running forward (to get as close to him as possible) since evading those tornadoes seem like a waste of time. Tried it on hard and it works just fine. Haven't tried it on Japanese Hard yet though.


And yeah, true that. Also, everything about him has something to do with mirrors. Reflections, crystal stage, lasers (light) bouncing on walls... mirrors I tell you. XD

the perspective of the image is simply stunning, I like the effect you gave speed and cracked glass effect give an extra touch to the image.

I've never really been sure what to make of Flashman, but this makes me think of a line walked between Hyadain's and Hiromu Arikawa's interpretations. With that crackshot in the screen you'd never guess he had a wider bullet spray than... well, any robot master I think. ( Nice touch on the fourth wall there. ) It's simple, but I really like it. =3

Thanks a bunch! Yeah, when I looked at glass puncture pics, they looked all... complex, and very very detailed. Can't really do that here cause I think it'll ruin the balance, so I opted for the more simple cartoony style. ^^
