Description
This is for Rockman's 28th Anniversary. And of course, it's late. Hey, what's new about that? For such a simple concept, it took me quite a while to finish.
But whatever, at least I have a decent pic for the occasion for a change.Anyway, this pic kinda creeped me out. Having a multi armed Rock like some Hindu god was a bit too outlandish for me. I just told myself, "whatever, just finish it!" and forged on. Other than that, not much to say about this. I guess I should note that despite this account being a Rockman fan gallery, it's pretty rare for me to draw the main guy himself.

This is Mega rad man! Love how the hands are posed in a way that reflects the weapons they are designated with. I only wish that mega man looked less creepy and more upbeat. Makes me think he's a serial killer j/k But I love this and the background is a nice touch to represent the weapon variable system.

LOL, yeah I guess the low lighting made him look quite sinister. But it's a must do for me when drawing scenes with characters powering up, or doing some inexplicable thing in some inexplicable plane of existence. I mean, I did make his eyes wide and round to give him the classic cute Rockman look. But I also wanted him to look a bit more aggressive... so I turned the head down a bit, giving his eyes some level of ferocity without needing to draw any eyebrows. XD

If you follow the Archie Comics Mega Man series, every time he uses the weapons he obtained, Mega Man's sanity slips bit by bit. I guess your art kinda directs to it.

This is what you'd see in a TV show when the hero goes us against the series/season villain. Hero makes some final speech, the we see after images of meaningful characters, events or powers, then the battle starts. The whole thing has meaning for the viewer too.

Haha yeah. Imagine the frustration Wily's boys feel. For some reason, I can relate more to the Robot Masters than Rock these days. Makes me want to help Wily think of a fool proof plan to finally corner the Blue Bomber. XD

Take whatever the Metools are made of, and make a robot master outta THAT.

Or maybe Wily can just make robot master made of spike traps. XD I guess that would be Needle Man. but for some reason, he isn't as deadly as he should be. D:

And I think Needleman wasn't as deadly as he should've been, because Wily already used up all the budget for primo spikes in his stages by the time he started crafting the robot masters.

I was going to modify the special weapon arms, like I did with the Roll pics. But I wanted to go for a purist route on this one, so I just opted for different gestures. Had a little "fun" with it too.

Haha yeah, the initial idea was making after image arms. I wanted to color them bluish, like most afterimages in games. But then I wouldn't be able to clearly show the different weapons.
