Excellent piece, are you into the fauve painters?

I appreciate the Fauves very much but I like the Blue Rider period the most.
Kandinski and Franz Marc.

Would have been interesting to see what direction art would have taken if WWI hadn't started.

I know what you mean. Many of the most profound artistic innovations came out of some sort of conflict or rebellion.

I think we are now about to return to the excitement and inovation we saw in the beginning of the previous century...I don't know, I am a very big fan of the art movements from that time, as well as the literature....but I don't mean to return to their style necessarily, but to the power and inovation of that period.

I must confess the same is true with me. I am inspired by the colors of the Blue Riders so much that I sometimes use the same color palette for my own work. When I pick out pastels for a new illustration especially.
I know that since I have begun working with the Wacom in December of 2008 and experimenting with digital art, I find a whole new world of possibilities.

I'm still struggling with my tablet, but I have found I like painting digitally on my Pocket PC, and the best part is this, I can take it anywhere I go and work on things while I'm waiting for whatever, the resolution sucks though, it chokes on anything too big.

I never tried a pocket pc. Is it expensive? I am such a gaget geek (for a girl).

Not really, you can get a used Axim off of Ebay for about 90 dollars, and a pretty good paint program for about 30 or 40 dollars

LOL...I use my old beat up laptop only for the 3d stuff and internet...but if I could get a handle on the use of my tablet I would do so much more on the laptop...the thing is I need a scrolling button to operate my 3d program so a tablet wont work easily.
