i have mixed feelings on this one
i dont know if i like it or if it's too much 
i might have to redo it. they were lying on hay but i disspaeared when i used the texture

Well...its been nearly 3 months in the making, I wanted to critique this as soon as I saw it, and have tried a few times but I either lost it, or ran out of time.....but now its being done!
The colours! When I think of cowboys, you have 2 main colour groups, Black and white for the hats (bad and good guys!) and browns/oranges basically the colours of horses, mud, leather, the open plains and sunsets to ride off into. The background of this is a sunset, lighter yellows blending down into deep reds, warm friendly colours that change the whole feel of the piece to a happy relaxing one. Ok she used a stock template to go over the sunset back but its a great choice! Although its Victorian, it still drags the image back in time.
The simple use of 2 tone stippling works well to define muscle tone and body parts but there are parts of there chaps that need a little work, add a little bit to some of the material folds, that's all.
The skin tone is natural, and as I said before, little simple shading really helps define them, but where they fall down is some of the arm placements. the right arm is twisted a little unnaturally on the wrist where he's holding his hand, while the left hand and forearm seams to be in slightly the wrong position. The strange thing, is that this is one of the artists strong points usually, it might be a position the artist hasn't come across before, and with out a reference it could be hard.
I really like this image, the colours and body language are warm and inviting, in fact i'd say that I will miss seeing this in my inbox now I've finally written this.

Mm he shouldn't be wearing anything under those assless chaps ;D I think it's the hands, I can't draw hands for my life, but I dunno, I just think there's something up with them.
